This Sunday we began a new sermon series through the book of Genesis. Genesis is a book about beginnings; telling us God created everything that exists and he rules over his creation. But the book also tells us of humanity's descent into sin and death, and of God's unfolding plan to redeem his creation. Before we go deep into the book of Genesis, these discussion questions will help us reflect on the big ideas of the book.

How do the scriptures you just read communicate to us that God is a loving God?
Read Genesis 3:1-7 - How is the goodness of God marred here?
Jesus says of the Old Testament, including Genesis “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me.” In what ways do the verses listed above point us to Jesus and the Gospel?
