We are church in and for Waltham. We are a church where neighbors become family. Plan your visit below and if you have any questions, let us know.
MEETING SPACE: Boys and Girls Club - THE AUDITORIUM, 20 Exchange St, Waltham, 02451.
Free Parking: Library Lot, BGC Lot, Exchange St, and Main St.
Seven Mile Waltham would like to welcome our friends with disabilities. We're glad you're here! We will do everything we can to assist and make your visit an enjoyable one. We currently meet in the auditorium of the Boys and Girls Club of Waltham. Unfortunately, that space is only accessible via four half flights of stairs. We are actively working with the Boys and Girls Club to make this space fully accessible as soon as possible. Prior to your visit, please contact Clint Patronella to discuss any accommodations needed for you visit.
WHy we gather
We gather together on Sundays to meet with the living God and be encouraged, formed spiritually, and strengthened as changed followers of Jesus. Our Sunday Gathering follows a Modern Liturgy, an ancient pattern that still reaches us today. We begin by hearing God's call to worship—an invitation to know, love, and follow him. We give space to practice confession and lament in a world that never slows down. We drink deep the good news that love, acceptance, forgiveness and mercy are offered to all who recognize their need and provision in Jesus. After listening to the Scriptures proclaimed through preaching (SERMONS), we respond by sharing communion—a meal to remember that Jesus gave his life for us. Finally, we conclude our gathering by being sent out into the world to be a blessing, empowered by self-sacrificing love, for God’s glory and the good of our city.
Our Sunday Gatherings are also a great entry point for someone who is seeking, skeptical, or curious. It is our sincere desire to thoughtfully explore your questions about God and Christianity with you. We will often have a Q/A after our gathering for people to ask questions. No scripts. Nothing off limits. Just honest answers to thoughtful questions. Skeptics are welcome. Seriously.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Whether you’ve never been to church, it’s been a while, or you’re used to one specific kind, it’s natural to feel a little anxious when trying something new. We don’t want you to be any different with us than you are at work or home, so dress as you like and come as you are.

Seven mile kids
Additionally your kids will enjoy learning about Jesus with friends at Seven Mile KIDS. We currently have 2 "Kid's Church" groups available (1-4, and 5-8) with age-appropriate activities and learning. All of our volunteers are interviewed and background checked (CORI) to provide a safe and fun environment. Kids are "checked-in" before the service, where they are registered and receive a name tag. Kids attend the first part of the service with their family to begin to build rhythms and memories of worshipping with their family. They are dropped off to their class immediately following the Kid Sermon and are picked up at the end of the Sunday Gathering.
